Postcard Poems and a Poem called Postcard

It’s August, so I’m writing postcard poems and sharing from last year’s archive. Bonus! A snippet from Margaret Atwood’s poem Postcard:

At this distance
you’re a mirage, a glossy image
fixed in the posture
of the last time i saw you.
Turn you over, there’s the place
for the address. Wish you were
here

Here’s another of my postcard poems from the 2015 archive. If you missed registration for the  August Postcard Poetry Festival 2016 and would like a postcard poem, let me know and I’ll send one your way…
