NaPoWriMo 2016 Day 2

I wanted to work with a poetic form called the lune, which has a 5-3-5 syllable structure. Here, I strung three lunes together to compliment my obsession with vintage gothic romance covers. Plus it made me laugh.

Barefoot through the bog

on naked branches.

Without doubt, he knows

her return’s

inevitable

She seems not to care

because her

hair looks amazing.

      Me too, and the cover art for these vintage gothic romance novels is hokey, but enchants me none-the-less!
