April 3… charm school

Today’s NaPoWriMo poetry prompt was to write a charm- a simple rhyming poem in the style of a nursery rhyme.  Without further ado…

A bitter herb

Cures salty tongues

And stiffened wrists

And wheezy lungs

Leaves that grow

I’ll pick some more

If broken hearts

will mend. L’amour!
