Ah, the post-NaNoWriMo season is upon us… which also means the holidays are here! December 1 signals the end of 30 (oh, make that 28) days of furious writing. I can now get cozy under one of Clare’s crocheted afghans with some hot cider, a cinnamon stick, and my second novel.
The unread draft is like a wrapped gift that’s been under the tree for a month. It might be a new IPhone, but then again, it could turn out to be a stale mini fruit cake. Whichever it turns out to be, there is still a great satisfaction in having your new novel before you, ready to be revealed.
Cheers to all my fellow NaNoWriMo participants; whether you ended the month with 50 or 50,000 words… you’re all winners in my book!
